In the Orchard

The Father
The Farmer brushed the dirt from my tiny stalk. I was so small. Was I only a small green growth? Was I only ever this big? I had always thought I was a large tree. I told the Farmer. He laughed, and told me I will be a huge tree if I do what I’m supposed to do. He brushed the dirt from me, and then moved to show me the Sun. It was so bright! Have I never seen this light before? I could not understand it! It’s warmth was overpowering. My core trembled with fear. I was sure the Sun would scorch my tender stem. As if to reassure me, the Farmer sprinkled water on me, and I knew He would protect me. He breathed on me, and I breathed life. The water refreshed and revived me, but I felt like I had never lived before at all. I had always been dead. But now, I was alive, and I was in the orchard of the Farmer.
Hebrews 7:25~ “Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
